Alastair in AfricaHey there!

Well i dont really know where to start, the past few days have been an unbelievable experience - God has been absolutely AMAZING in the opportunities He has given us!

We continue to work at the childrens club (I call it work but really it is a completel pleasure). we have told all our stories of Joseph using puppets and dramas. Alastair did his first ever childrens talk which he was so nervous about - but it was brilliant! God really helped him through it in a very special way - and we have both been left with that amazing feeling of being used by God!

The kids were just brilliant - when we left tonight we gave them all a very simple wee gift of pencils, rulers, rubbers, stickers - oh they were just over the moon!! It was like Christmas - so humbling to see this - when the kids backJudith home are writing their Santa lists for toys worth hundreds of pounds! Also the other night the kids all got sent home with a lettuce each to help their famillies to have more healthy food to eat - so amazing that so little means so much out here! Hopefully you will be able to see some of the kids posing with their lettuces if I get to attach some photos!!

AlastairYesterday was also amazing (i am using that word a lot!) but we got to go into the township and spend time with some of the young people who I worked with a lot the last time I was here. It was so emotional - I have been missing them and praying for them for 3 years and to see them again was just so special and to be able to introduce them to Alastair! There was one very special boy in particular who I got very close to,Kids in Africa Siphamandla, and when we met him he brought us to his house and he showed me a photo album that he has with pictures of me and him in it and a little bit that he had written about our friendship and what it meant to him. This just blew me away - i was only here 3 months and all I did was be a friend to him and yet that has had such a massive impact on his life - an extremely humbling experience. I will hopefully be able to attach a photo of him as well. I have a problem though because he will not fit in my suitcase so I am going to have to come up with a Plan B to get him home - because I definitely think he needs to come to Youth Fellowship some night hehe!!

SleepingWe are continuing to have such a blessed time and God has been so good to us! We are having a Christmas party tomorrow with the mission team here - a Christmas party in 30 degree heat is just not right hehe!

We are so so touched by your interest and prayers about what we are up to and I hope that in some way these wee updates can make you feel a part of it! xoxo
